Student Story

Being an Inter student was suppose to be nice and fine but as everyone knows Covid-19 has changed the reality.
I completed 10 standard last year and now in May, I will be writing the intermediate board examination. In 10th class I felt like I should work a lot harder and was prepared mentally for studying continuously, so was every one of my age. Everyone knows how it is when you are about to complete your 10 class you feel a part of every emotion, a little bit tense, scared, and a little bit of excitement. We students (or most of us) don’t know then that we will be starting a new chapter in our life once we begin the intermediate. Most of us didn’t get to reunite with our friends after exams we didn’t get to meet our school teachers who were our mentors for the past 10 years. It was the technology that connected us in the past 10 months but how much ever I talk through video calls or messages it doesn’t feel like talking. Most of the students including me didn’t even have a farewell and that’s not even the worst part. I consider that my 10th class teachers are the most valuable mentors that I can get in my entire life no matter how old I become. The bond of a student and a teacher is very special we share knowledge, jokes and most importantly students get so many advice of future studies and for life

My college as started from 15 February and to be honest 90 % of my college students don’t understand the subject. Some students were sincerely studying. Some just ignored the classes and some just joined and did their work but there is a small percentage of students who just sat at one place for several hours without interest and had no choice but to listen. I come from this very small category. I will not say that I understood nothing or I understood everything. The Network played a vital role in online classes for us if there was a problem with the network at our lecture’s end that was not a problem because lectured would repeat the subject once again but If there was a problem at the student’s end he/she would not get any re-explanation. When a student tries so hard not to divert from the studies and then they miss a very important concept, they just can’t handle the tension of not understanding anything and they just let go, gradually interest will not be there. I am sure that there are students who would have studied perfectly if we didn’t have this world pandemic. Not only my batch even my juniors who will now be writing their 10th exams are in the same condition and their total future is on the line only based on the online classes.
One may argue that any subject is available on the internet but it’s just not easy for students to understand everything on the internet.

Everyone lost so much to the pandemic we students lost a lot. This is only because of our ( not only students ) negligence and our carelessness So please be cautious about the situation Do Not Take It For Granted. Students have their future on the line. If by chance there is a second pandemic and offline classes will be changed to online classes it is very dangerous for Students.
So please Be Careful.
